I am confused

OK, what's happening to the weather, the BBC keep telling me it is going to be sunny so I go out and water the garden, then it pours with rain, my poor veggies don't know if they are dying of thirst or drowning.  I don't think I will get a good crop from the garden this year, normally I get loads of tasty organic veg through the summer and autumn, but it is looking doubtful this year.
